Next Generation is our more advanced 7 v 7 football program that operates in the spring starting at the end of February or beginning of March. This is a high school football prep program for all boys and girls grades 5 - 8. Players will be taught by the LBHS football staff and volunteers. Contact is limited and soft helmets and mouth guards are required. Here they will learn the offensive and defensive schemes used at the high school level as well as further their football techniques, skills and overall IQ. Practices are generally twice a week for one and a half hours. When opportunities arise, we will play other programs in a 7v7 format during the week and/or on the weekend, Saturday and/or Sunday. If your child is planning on playing high school football, this is the perfect opportunity to work with their future coaches and get a head start in learning how to operate and execute high school plays.
