Welcome to NFL Flag in Laguna Beach 

Laguna Beach Youth Football is partnering with NFL Flag and USA Football to introduce kids 4/5 - 15 years old to the game of football and it's FUNdamentals. The league is open to both boys and girls of all skill levels in grades PreK - 8th grade. The goal Laguna Beach Youth Football is to provide our community with a fun, competitive and confidence building league where kids can learn and grow with the game.

There are unlimited runs at the PreK/K and 1/2 grade divisions.  We just want those kids to have fun.

Our league limits the number of runs and does not allow defensive rushing in the 3/4 grade division. QB's have a set amount of time to throw the ball before a sack is called. This allows QB's and WR's to work on their drop backs and routes. We believe emphasizing passing develops more skills, which helps develop better football players and makes for more exciting games.

At the 5/6 and 7/8 grade divisions we do allow rushing from seven yards back.  We believe this helps prepare QB's for higher levels in which they will have to avoid pass rushers and make quick decisions.

Coaches will be able to get certified as a Flag Football Coach through USA Football and this will give them the tools and skills to teach throwing, catching, running, offensive and defensive schemes in fun and safe environment.  This is a non-contact league, however, mouth guards are required while at practice and during games, because incidental contact may occur.  Your child's health and safety is our main concern. 

When you sign up, your child will receive 1 NFL replica jersey and 1 set of flags. Additional gear like shorts, socks and gloves can be purchased during registration or after teams are made.

We understand life is busy, so there is only one practice and one game per week.

Everyone plays at least half the game.
